Physician Assistant – Total Joints and Hand & Upper Extremity Orthopedics

Southern Oregon Orthopedics is seeking an experienced or highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our established Hand & Upper Extremity team in Medford, Oregon or our total joint team in Grants Pass, Oregon. These positions work closely with supervising physician, providing comprehensive orthopedic care in both the clinic and operating room.
Position Highlights
Full-time, 4-day workweek (four 10-hour days)
Approximately 1 surgery day per week, assisting in the OR
Remaining schedule focused primarily on orthopedic clinic
Average of 3 call days per month

Southern Oregon Orthopedics is a well-established, physician-led orthopedic practice serving Southern Oregon and Northern California. Our comprehensive practice includes orthopedic subspecialties, advanced imaging, physical and hand therapy, DME, and surgical services.

Requirements
Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate program
Current NCCPA certification
Active Oregon Physician Associate/Assistant license or ability to obtain prior to start date
DEA registration or ability to obtain
Current BLS certification
Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively in both clinic and surgical settings
Orthopedic experience preferred, but not required.
